Tragic Loss: BBNaija Star Francisca Owumi Passes Away
Francisca Owumi, a former Big Brother Naija star, has sadly passed away following a brief illness, as announced by her family on social media on August 29, 2024. The family’s post included heartfelt photos and the caption, “A daughter and sister. May her soul rest in peace, Amen.”
Francisca was the first runner-up in the inaugural season of Big Brother Nigeria in 2006, where she became known for her dynamic dance moves. She shared the house with contestants like Katung Aduwak, who won the season, as well as Ebuka Obi Uchendu, Gideon Okeke, Maureen Osuji, Ify Ejikeme, and the late Joseph Ada.
After her time on the show, Francisca ventured into the Nigerian music scene, releasing two singles, Gbadun You and Diva.
