Kellyrae: “Let’s go to bed.”
Kassia: “I just want to sleep here.”
Kellyrae: “Okay, move over so I can sleep here with you.”
Kassia: “You can’t sleep here. I’ve told you so many times how much I hate being yelled at, but you keep doing it.”
Kellyrae: “I’m sorry. But do you think it’s okay to argue whenever I say something?”
Kassia: “You only say what you want to do at that moment. Do you see anything wrong with that?”
Kellyrae: “But when I asked who said it, did you even respond? No, you didn’t.”
Kassia: “Go on, keep shouting.”
Kellyrae: “Am I shouting? I don’t understand. Can’t I talk to you anymore?”
Kellyrae: “Anyway, it’s fine. I can see that you take pride in doing whatever you want. Or maybe you’re just stubborn.”
Kassia: “Something happened today, and you didn’t tell me, just like before. Why do you always try to please other people?”
Kellyrae: “Who am I trying to please? I’m just trying to avoid you getting the wrong idea.”
Kassia: “I don’t care about narratives.”
Kellyrae: “I have no issue with your friendship, but if something happens behind your back, will she defend you?”
Kassia: “You’re making it sound like something happened and she didn’t defend me.”
Kellyrae: “I should be able to give you a look, and you just do it without asking a million questions. But it’s fine. Actually, it’s not fine.”
Kassia: “I don’t care.”
Kellyrae: “I know who’s worth respecting.”
Kassia: “I don’t care.”
Kellyrae: “What do you care about? How you feel? Your friend, Victoria, right? No problem. I’m not worth respect, too small to have my feelings or thoughts matter, right?”
Kellyrae: “You said I do things to please others.”
Kassia: “So I should stop being friends with people to make others happy?”
Kassia: “You should’ve told them the 8 meat pies weren’t just for us, but instead, you wanted to please them. Why should I offer my friend’s meat pie to anyone?”
Kellyrae: “Victoria won’t defend you; she doesn’t like to speak up.”
Kellyrae: “You take pride in being stubborn. And I didn’t have to tell you who said it for you to just get the meat pie.”
