Day two of Big Brother Naija Season 10 was pure testosterone! After the 15 ladies settled into Biggie’s colourful house, 14 men strolled in to stir things up. A plan quickly hatched amongst the women: act like the guys are invisible. But these men arrived determined to break down any frost. Within minutes, their charm offensive melted the ice, and the house was buzzing again. Sabrina, who had promised to “mize” the gents, found herself giggling as rapper Kola dropped bars that would make Phyno proud. “You’ve really got that vibe,” she admitted, her earlier resolve slipping into laughter. The men’s antics – from Rooboy’s hype-man energy to Kaybobo’s poetry – had the ladies peeking over their sunglasses and whispering, “Maybe we should talk to them after all.” It turns out ignoring a man in the same room is a lot harder when he’s rapping about how beautiful you are. The tension reached boiling point during the interim Head-of-House challenge. Housemates raced through an endurance test that saw Sabrina, Zita, Ivatar, Sultana and Isabella representing the women while Kula, Rooboy and Jason Jae held it down for the men. Isabella was still refusing to cook for the entire house – “I’m not your kitchen maid!” she told Denari, leaving him clutching his empty bowl and laughing. When the final whistle blew, Jason Jae emerged triumphant and was crowned Interim HoH, immediately choosing Doris as his partner. Talk about making moves! The ladies may have lost their silent war, but viewers won a front-row seat to the burgeoning drama. Friendship lines are already being drawn; strategies are being plotted; and there’s a playful battle of the sexes simmering in every corner. If Day 1 is any indication, this season’s mix of sass and swagger promises enough banter to keep us glued to our screens. Who said silence is golden? In the BBNaija house, it’s the noise that makes the game.
