Onyeka: “You know I love you, right? Will you come over after we hang out?”
Topher (smiling): “I’m not really into going out for parties.”
Onyeka: “Who said anything about a party? It’s just a simple visit. When you’re out, will you ask people to vote for me? Or are you planning to tell them to vote for Anita instead?”
Topher (smiling): silent grin
Onyeka: “If I win, the money will finish fast, you know. Once I give Chizoba some, rent a house, and buy a car… that’s it. Money gone.”
Topher: “Exactly. Nothing will be left.”
Onyeka: “But I could still go out, and people who love me might just start gifting me things, saying, ‘My baby, take this! Take that!’ And that’s how I’ll get my money back.”
