Kassia: “So, about what happened—like I said, it was just a feeling. We’re all human, and we have emotions, so that conversation triggered something in me. I’m really sorry about that.”
Onyeka: “No problem.”
Kassia: “But the reason I got upset that day was because I’ve had issues with Chizoba. Not major ones, but enough to bother me. I don’t know if she mentioned it to you, but I spoke to her about it. I told her what I didn’t like, and she apologized. Then I heard Nelly was the one who told you about it. I just felt that if you had come to me directly and said, ‘Kassia, this is what I heard—why did you say this?’ we could’ve avoided what happened that day. Anyway, I’m really sorry.”
Onyeka: “No problem at all. I’ve already moved past it. Once I speak my mind, I’m done—that’s just how I am.”
Kassia: “Aren’t you supposed to be downstairs? Why are you here?”
Onyeka: “I just needed a moment. Honestly, I like that everyone’s downstairs. I needed some quiet; I haven’t had much of that since I got here.”
Kassia: “Are you sure you’re okay?”
Onyeka: “Yeah, I am.”
